How it works
Connect a public Shopify catalogue and select the products that contain your original work.
Each week, Copywatch runs visual and product-name searches for the products you selected.
Dismiss irrelevant matches or save the useful ones. If you decide to act, Copywatch prepares an editable takedown notice.
Why creators use Copywatch
Copywatch takes the repetitive searching and organising off your plate, while keeping every judgement and next step in your hands.
Search beyond exact filenames and bring visually similar products together for review.
Run regular web searches for the products you choose instead of checking marketplaces one by one.
Select the designs that matter now and add more products as your Shopify catalogue grows.
Compare the original and possible match side by side, then dismiss it or keep it for action.
Canonical matches stay organised, so repeat results do not send you back to the beginning.
Turn a reviewed match and your notes into a calm, editable takedown notice that you control.
Keep products from several stores in one workspace as your studio or brand portfolio expands.
Create your account, then choose a plan and the Shopify products you want Copywatch to monitor.

An original rabbits-on-scooters illustration by Lion & The Pear appeared in an Etsy listing selling a digital download. Copywatch surfaced the listing and placed it alongside the original for a clear side-by-side review.

Potential matches require human review and are not proof of infringement.
A note from the founder
One evening, we found my partner’s artwork being sold on Etsy. It wasn’t the first time. Getting the copies removed was usually quick. Finding them was the hard part.
I built Copywatch to make finding, reviewing and acting on possible copies easier.

FAQ
Copywatch imports the products you select from your public Shopify catalogue, then regularly searches the open web by image and product name so you do not have to keep hunting manually. It brings possible matches into one place for you to review.
No. Copywatch takes care of the time-consuming search, then leaves the judgement to you. Each result is a possible match to review, not proof of copying or copyright infringement.
Copywatch currently imports publicly accessible Shopify catalogues. The store must be reachable without a customer login, and you should only connect catalogues you are authorised to manage.
It appears in your review queue with the source, date and available context. You can dismiss it or mark it for action, add private notes and keep your decision attached if the same URL appears again.
Yes. When you decide a listing needs action, Copywatch uses the saved details and your notes to draft a calm takedown notice for you to review, edit and send. It never contacts the seller automatically or guarantees that a listing will be removed.
